Terms of Service

The Profiler is a subscription training service providing weekly investigative case files, behavioural analysis exercises, and training reports. It is operated by ProfilerHQ (ABN 80 950 193 235). By creating an account and subscribing, you agree to these terms.

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as chosen at checkout. Your trial period is 7 days from the date of signup. No charge is made during the trial. You may cancel at any time during or after the trial without penalty.

After the trial, your subscription renews automatically on the same date each month or year. You can cancel or manage your subscription from the Profile section of the dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) that cannot lawfully be excluded.

For subscriptions, we do not offer refunds for change of mind on billing periods that have already commenced and where access has been used. If the service fails to function as described for a sustained period, contact us and we will provide an appropriate remedy consistent with your statutory rights.

For ebook and digital guide purchases, we do not offer refunds for change of mind once the file has been delivered or made available for download. If a file is corrupt, undelivered, or materially different from what was described, you are entitled to a replacement or refund within 30 days of purchase.

All case files, training reports, exercises, and other content on The Profiler are the intellectual property of ProfilerHQ (ABN 80 950 193 235). You may not reproduce, distribute, or share this content without prior written permission.

The service is for personal use only. Sharing your account credentials or subscription access with others is not permitted.

You agree not to attempt to circumvent the subscription system, exploit the Clearance Points system through automated means, or use the service in any way that disrupts other users or the platform.

The behavioural science content provided is for educational and training purposes only. The Profiler does not provide professional psychological, legal, or investigative advice. Indicators described in the training reports are probabilistic patterns, not diagnostic instruments.

We aim to maintain continuous availability of the service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We will notify subscribers in advance of planned maintenance windows where possible. We are not liable for losses arising from service interruptions, except to the extent required by the Australian Consumer Law.

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms. If your account is terminated for a breach, you are not entitled to a refund for any remaining subscription period except where required by law. You may request account deletion at any time by emailing hello@profilerhq.com.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProfilerHQ is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in this clause limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia, and the applicable federal courts of Australia.

We will notify you by email of material changes to these terms at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
